Pathfinder Camporee 2022

The theme for the camp was "From the Pit to the Palace," and it took place from June 3 to June 5. The weekend was jam-packed with exciting spirit-led activities that allowed the youth in attendance to demonstrate what they had learned in their various pathfinder groups while also learning new skills and key life lessons that would help them be better youth for Christ. This year's topic allowed the Pathfinders to reflect on the life of Joseph, who, against all circumstances, had confidence in God and was abundantly blessed.

Paint Class

Bro. Andrew Jamel, Youth Department head, would like to thank everyone who came out and supported another one of our paint classes. Your ongoing support is highly appreciated. Those in attendance expressed their delight in being able to hone in on their creative side.

'Substance Abuse And Mental Health'

Drug Misuse And Mental Health, conducted by Christina Clemente, a certified Clinical Social Worker and Substance Abuse Counselor, examined how substance abuse and mental health correlate and the problems that come with untreated substance abuse. Also discussed were the ways in which we as a church family  assist such persons in these situations, as well as the warning signals and triggers that lead to the usage of illegal and illicit drugs.

10 Days of Prayer

The Sabbath School Department would like to thank individuals who joined the Department's prayer effort, which was conducted on Zoom from June 6th to 15th. Those in attendance, both locally and internationally, voiced their appreciation for such an endeavor, with many testifying to how glad they were to be able to pray for and with fellow believers in Christ. The Church is encouraged to keep praying and to witness the Lords goodness towards us.
