MONTHLY NEWS LETTER ( JANUARY, FEBRUARY AND MARCH)
Readers, welcome back! Here's an update on what's happened in the first three months of the year so far.
GLOBAL YOUTH DAY
This years Global Youth Day took place on Sabbath march 18th under the theme "Be The Sermon". The Youth Department , along with Pathfinders , Adventurers and members of the Church took the theme literally and became the sermon by giving back to the community. Food , toiletries and literature which was collected prior to the day was then distributed to the less fortunate in the community . Many persons in attendance noted that the experience to give back was rewarding and blessing to be able to share Jesus with others
CHILDREN'S DAY
We are called to shine our lights so that others can see Jesus in us. The Children's Ministry Department led the Sabbath service on March 25th, with the theme "Lord Shine Thorough Me." The children demonstrated what they had learned over the quarter by reciting scripture and singing songs.The sermons of Gabriella Hanley and Delone Carter reminded the congregation of the significance of letting their light shine and allowing God to shine through us.
Scripture also tells in Mathew 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
